Nahuel meets us and we are driven to a beautiful “estancia”,
a large rural estate, for horseback riding, another beautiful setting on a
lake. Grandma stays at the “ranch house” with the ladies where she makes new
friends with the ladies while we’re riding!
Our ride is great! We start off slowly but then we progress
to galloping, as we pass by a flock of sheep, and ride through the pampas.
Then, surprise! We get to herd the cattle!
After a stroll through the river, we are treated to a real gaucho-style
barbecue lunch. We’ve never seen so much meat on a BBQ, but we manage to eat
EVERYTHING! Sabrina’s biggest treat? –The baby lamb who’d been abandoned by his
mom-too precious!
After lunch, the “boys” try their hand at fly-fishing-
fishing, no catching! The “girls” look for some local crafts to bring home…
Wonderful dinner tonight at Butterfly with some very
interesting artwork!
