Today is our full day tour of wineries in the Primera Zona
region, or bodegas as they’re called. Our first stop is Achaval-Ferrer,
a premier winemaker, followed by Catena Zapata, whose building is shaped
like a Mayan temple. Our lunch is
a major treat. We have a gourmet lunch
wit wine pairing at Ruca Malen winery, where the chef is none other than our
teacher form the night before, Lucas Bustos!
One more stop on our winery tour is Terrazas de Los Andes,
beautiful wines, a beautiful historic building, and a very beautiful hostess!!
Our guide Pedro is more knowledgeable than almost anyone in
the wineries, and so well known and respected everywhere!
